Envelope toning

    Fair enough, but I was thinking more along the lines when I was 7 years old and my grandfather first showed me his coin collection and got me started on this hobby. Even so they may well have made some then, but if they did I was not aware of it.

    Rather than put my "average" coins in a 2X2, I bought some manila "coin" envelopes to put them in. My "real" collector coins are either in a 2X2 or a slab.
    I don't remember if anyone said anything about AT to hiding cleaning marks.

    You have to remember that when Doug was a YN, paper was a new invention! :)

    Those colors could not be replicated once removed, which is what gives them a unique character. I'd put them as is into adhesive style 2x2's to preserve the beauty. But that's me.

    I agree. Or either Air-Tite coin capsules. That toning looks too nice to remove, please don't clean/dip those pretty babies. JMHO
