I took the ring to a jeweler and he offered me 90% of spot but said he personally thought a collector would want a shot at it before he turned it into liquid mush. I agree with him as well. So here I am. The coin is 1/10ounce 999.9 yellow gold [NOT SILVER]. The nugget ring is 14kt yellow gold [NOT SILVER]. So I have two questions; what do you think it is worth and secondly what would be the suggested minimum starting bid [or reserve] if I were to put it on an auction site.
