Got a cent box with 4 (5 if you count the double ender), but only photographed the first two rolls I found: The two enders on the double ender: And the total haul for the box: 70 wheats, 3 George VI, 1 pre-60 Elizabeth II.
Don't have a picture but my newest box of halves turned up a 1987-P ender. Does that count? Other than that, it was a skunk. Actually, it was worse than a skunk. There were three rolls missing a half and instead had 2 quarters and a penny in their place. All-in-all, I lost $0.99 in the deal.
1945-P war nickel ender 1945-P War nickel ender: Only war nickel in the $100 box...but nice to know it was there right from the start! 2 Buffalos in the same box.
You people who can buy rolls of halves don't know how lucky you are. I called all banks around me within a 40 mile radius and not one of them have rolls of halves. Even a ride on a 20 mile radius only gets me less than $10 worth even if I visit all banks. They all only have loose ones that are NEVER silver. How can I get my bank to get boxes of halves???
Ask them. Some will say no, some will say yes. You'll have better luck with banks that handle more commercial business.
2 Boxes of Halves Cashed a check and my two boxes of halves I ordered last week came in. One was Loomis and was destroyed and taped back up, no enders in that one. The Strings Box had an ender, my first in some time now. I hope it turns out to be a good box with more than just 1 silver. Maybe even a handful of 90%er's. HOTN
