Sorter bags of up to $1k in dimes from First Niagara. I'm kind of upset because someoen has taken to dumping halves at this branch... almost every time they've had halves, it has produced silver before this... I'm not going to start searching someone elses dumps with little to no shot at finding anything... it doesn't appear they're onto dimes or nickels yet, so...
i am new at this and been meaning to try it, as i have a decent bank roll to buy a few boxes.. but say i was to buy a 500$ box of halves or quarters . YOU DO take the face value coins back and purchase more rolls correct?? seems like alot of work to find maybe 15 silver halves but in the end its not bad cuz its more than one face coin correct?
Yep! I'm on my seventh roll and that roll just produce 4 '67s and I haven't done that ender yet!!! I think 4 from a BWR is a new record for me.
4 from a BWR roll is crazy good. My best ever is 2 in roll, which has happened a couple times for me. Let us know how the box turns out, sounds like it will be a killer. HOTN
Weekend Box Opened up a box on Saturday and I had this 1968 looking back at me, made me pretty happy to know I wasn't going to get skunked. The roll actually had another silver 40%er in there...Sweet. HOTN
Here is a little treat from my box today. Haven't opened a roll yet but this was on the top row. Yes, that is a '64 if it's tough to read. This bank has been a killer!!
Been having some pretty good luck with enders recently: Everything except the first 2 images are just in the past 2 weeks! Sorry if the images are huge
Not the type of ender you want: (The roll looks short because I only noticed after I cut it in half for searching.)
Ender Breaks the Skunk Streak at 8 This is from my one good box this weekend. Lots of work dumping and picking up last week, going to take a break this week and regroup. HOTN
Only my 5th box of nickels since I started this a year ago. Found this ender today. My second nickel ender. Thought I would snap a pic this time. This one was a 1920.
No picture, but I got my first silver ender yesterday - a dime on the hand-folded side of a bank wrapped roll. I couldn't see the coin before I opened it and didn't notice it until I poured it into my hand.
One end was pre-crimped, but the bank specifically told me that they rolled these themselves. I was there doing a dime swap - my dime box from another bank ended up being solid 2011-d's so I stopped here and swapped the box for some of their rolls. They were thrilled to trade hand rolls for machine rolls.
