The chicken little T-block is notorious for high grades out of total of 12 graded by PMG there are 8-68,s !! i have one that im sending out should grade 68 as well and I think you have a good candidate there as well but with so many in population it kind of brings the price down a bit, certain serial number runs just do better then Others. The $5 you have DIS153 T block 10 in pop 3-66, 3-65,2-64, 1-58,1-55 Margin is pretty light on the front left side of the note either a 64 or even a 66 possible The $1 Pirates/Queen ann note DIS158 E block looks really solid to me only 6 graded 3-67, 3-66 i to have one of these ready for the graders block, looks atleast 67 to me! The $1 Arial note DIS125 block A total of 4 graded 1-67 2-66 1-65 light margin on reverse will probably keep this a 66 Some excellent low pop finds there, should have one coming in to day and another 4 coming in the next week plus a graded example will post when they come in
This came in the mail today Cinderella Block T (DIS133) PMG Total Graded: 10 2-66 4-65 3-64 1-58 The original one i purchased had higher asperations on grade but this was the last one he had, though not a super gem its still ok
FYI, PMG updates their populations for US and World bills every Monday so I would think after 5pm EST every Monday you can get an update of the pops of everything. I have about 15 Disneys that will go in after everything else is pretty much caught up on. I have some vintage Thailand that take 80 friggin days!!! So I still have 20 days or so to wait on those.
yeah i know, i have my master sheet to keep track of what is what and the updates, see allot of trends forming for certain notes ones that grade well and the ones that dont. On the Thailand notes, why so long? grading is grading shouldnt take any additional Time
You wouldn't think it would take so long. I think they are just inundated with all the Disney notes and other stuff and not enough graders or encapsulators.
When you figure what they are making on each economy note let alone the other Grading tiers its a mint!! i would be curious to know how much time it actually takes to grade a single note, any note ! maybe 5 minutes ? would not thing it would take any longer then that.
I don't think it takes 5 minutes for most of the notes they grade. Maybe on very old very valuable notes, but all the modern stuff probably takes seconds as I am sure they are required to push through a certain number a day in their jobs. The same holds true for the coins. They only handle them for a few seconds and determine the grade. There are always exceptions, but if they took 5 minutes or more on each note or coin it would take forever to get them back...much longer than it does here. I know last year NGC was into record profits and that was earlier in the year so neither one is losing money for sure!! You can see the Thai notes I am keeping in new acquisitions.
I will for sure take a look i agree there not hard up, they could atleast hire a few more junior G man to lesson the wait
Both are from the Series 2009 and both are from the T Block now and the hunt for the $5, these will be part of my next submission to PMG look pretty good to me
Ah ha, my first Disney submission to PMG finally hit Grading/Quality Control. If I am lucky it will ship Friday but I leave for ANA Tuesday so might not see it until we get home from Hawaii after ANA.
Those looked better then those grades they gave you, but again we are not the professionals, i am finding a trend on the Bay, allot of people are using stock Photos and then sending off margin notes so be careful of that
I think the 67,s will be a quick sell 66,s seem to be prevalent depending on what Series you have hit and miss, 65,s and 64,s will be on the tougher side those grades have centering issues and just not as popular
