Here is an EXCELLENT source for Disney Dollar information, although it doesn't seem to start at the first issue in 1987. Still, there is a lot of information here with pictures. http://colnect.com/en/banknotes/lis...ues/series/100488-USA_-_Disney_Dollars/page/1 Another site I just found: http://www.disneydollars.co.uk/pages/unusual_proofs.php
Here,s a few more that i just got in today the first one is a excellent candidate For grading margins look at least 67 ! and very low PMG population of (3) 2-64 1-58 1993 Mickey Mouse 65th Anniversary D-A Block (DIS30) second one is allot more common but still a decent one for grading 2002 Steamboat Willie A-A Block (DIS70) PMG population (34) 2-67, 27-66,3-65, 1-64 Third one more like the first in rareity 2013 Villain and Heroes/ Capt. Hook A-Block (DIS160) PMG population (7) 2-66, 5-65
Have to make a correction the first note above the 1993 Mickey 65th Anniversary note is from Block A-A got the two switched up, so here,s the correct note
Looks like there was a bidding war on this one $1 note! http://www.ebay.com/itm/1996-1-D-Disney-Dollar-Mickey-Disney-Castle-Back-PCGS-66-PPQ-GEM-NEW-/122048728749?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&nma=true&si=ICDS1ZAukPrzun9h4q8XDHvsO3I%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc And another: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1998-5-D-Di...AukPrzun9h4q8XDHvsO3I%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
The D-A block is very rare in this issue , i got a good deal on mine and is one of the ones i will be sending in for TPG, some notes have way more value then others as you can see by your example, getting a feel through others whats worth getting or not
also just got my PMG alert that they received my notes now the waiting my goal is to submit 15 to 20 notes a month for grading will see how that goes LOL
Super nice !! top margin slightly raised but other then that top notch DIS80 Steamboat Willie block D-A Current pop: 5 4-66 1-65
All good though, a new one is on its way, i just hope it has the same good centering That this on had
My first Disney submission is still showing scheduled for grading so probably at least another week before it gets done. Wish it would move faster. My second submission is still showing received and no listing of the notes showing. But a bunch of Thai notes I had submitted and were received 6-10 shipped today. One specimen note that had been there for 2 months finally done and on its way back with the other Thai notes.
I guess you just got a go with it, or pay the extra money to get it done faster But that kin=d of defeats the purpose, so are you going to sell them keep them Or throw them in the attic...lol
i will probably do the same but i am building a couple of registry sets at PMG for both Disney Dollars and MPC, my daughter likes um so we will most likely do that
Got some new Disney mail today. I wish the 9 on the Ariel note was a 7!! I do like the Chicken Little notes!
