My goal will be to find 1 more buffalo and 1 silver half from a box (after searching 4 boxes I've found nothing)

Between now and the end of the year my goal is to get 7 ounces of silver in Halves. I gotta hurry up! I have found 50 ounces of silver this year and sold 30 ounces of it.

There is always going to be a rough patch. You just got to break through it if you get skunked. If you want to CRH just do it and see what you can find. Most of all don't get discouraged! Good luck if you choose to roll hunt!

    Start out small at first.
Maybe 10 rolls of cents for 5 bucks, 10 rolls of nickels for 20, whichever denomination you prefer. Personally, id say stay away from quarters if you're looking for silver as most people don't seem to have much luck with qtrs compared to dimes or halves.
If you aren't excited with the thrill of the hunt and aren't finding what you're looking for, return the coins and the worst that can happen is you've wasted a small amount of time and broken even money wise.
If you take a look at the 'roll searches, post your results' thread you can see what people typically find.

It all goes in cycles. I mostly do cents and nickels, and the first 3 days of the month I found no silver War Nickels, Buffalos or Key Date Jeffersons, and only one pre-1934 wheat cent - a 1921. Since then, this is what I've found:
    Dimes: 1943-D, 1964-D (Coinstar)
Nickels: Key Date 1938-D and 1938-S Jeffersons, 16 War Nickels, Buffalos: 1917, 1930 (2), dateless Philly that a teller saved for me
    Cents: 1917, 1920, 1929-S, 1935 (2), 1937-D

The good stuff is still out there, the keys are to persevere through the rough patches, and when you find a good source, keep hitting it until it runs dry.

Brutal Month for me, not even going to come close to my goal of getting 7 ounces more of silver by Dec. 31st. Only at 3oz right now and I will have limited time to hunt due to the rest of the Holidays.

You will either ask for customer wrapped rolls or bank wrapped. It's really your preference. When I ask for cents/pennies I husks for a box of pennies. I usually get bank wrapped but every now and again I get customer and it's ok either way. The one bank doesn't do boxes so I get customer wrapped.

Well, I may be a month overdue, but I found my missing coin today. Searching a roll I found a 1953 nickel, turned it over and lo and behold it had that tiny little S I've been waiting for...

Page complete! Now, onto finishing off the other two (more difficult to complete) pages out of CRH.
