    Searching for a Fonteius Denarius I found your post from some time ago (April 2016). I have a similar denarius, but the control mark is clearly an "H" and the dots below the necks could be 6 or 7. If it was there, the ROMA inscription is no more to be seen :-(
    Are the references also Crawford 290/1, Syd 555 etc ?

    AR Denarius, 3.46 g - 19 x 20 mm
    Obv: Laureate, Janiform head of Dioscuri, control mark H - X crossed, 6 or 7 dots; border of dots
    Rev.: C·FONT (NT as monogram) galley traveling to right with helmsman and three rowers to left; acrostolium on prow of the galley; border of dots.
