And, as a side note, I accessed an item just before it closed and thought it was something it wasn&#039;t but didn&#039;t have enough time to read the entire ad, quickly place my bid and won, then afterwards I finished reading the ad and &quot;caught&quot; what it was but it was too late. I paid for it, received it (yuck), and never complained. With that, you may be able to use that as a defense (didn&#039;t take the time to read the ad, which is the buyer&#039;s responsibility).
