    Two different coins, imo.

There is no hint whatsoever of doubling
in the 1st blurry photo, and compare the
rim thickness above 'In God' on both coins.

    And two different 'condition/grade' also.

I agree with Fred, two different coins. I've been gone for a few months, but do remember the OP looking to argue. If you know the group is going to want better pics, then start off with better pics. I don't see any other reason except you want to argue. This hobby is about having fun and obtaining knowledge. Seeing how you make the same mistakes over and over again shows me you aren't interested in the knowledge aspect of the hobby.

I was thinking that, too, but I figured, why, what's the purpose?

    yup.
as a photographer I find the lighting of the 2nd image to be very interesting (one can determine the type and location of the lighting by looking at shadows). Plus the coin is in an old white slab holder going all the way around the coin IMHO due to the halo effect (and barely seen lines of it) ... which if one searches the internet can find examples of the lighting used on coins on a certain specific website though YMMV IMHO.

Yeah. And then she has to haul off and bash me for it. And after telling us what a big collector she is, then referring to it as a "double die."

When you have to manipulate images just to prove a point, you've a problem, and it's got nothing to do with coins. All you have to do is show me that once, Jussie Smollett, and I'm gone, lots of luck to you.

Eddie I did not bash you for your input, I simply responded to your dry humor. I would never go that distance as far as faking shots to prove a point. Not my style. The proof is in the pudding. All I did was simply take more shots and chose the best one! You said lots of luck to me, now act like you mean it!

I already went through my initiation as a newbie to coin collecting and a newbie to this website by being bashed, disrespected and made to appear like I'm a straight dummy when it comes to coins like five years ago. Say your opinion in a respectful kind of way and we won't have no problems. But accusing me of posting fake photos and all that I won't tolerate and you can take opinion and stick it where the sun don't shine. For future post of mine simply don't comment if you can't be mature. Yes, I did say future post because I don't scare that easy.

Man, sometimes I dread posting finds on here and it's not suppose to be like that.

Yes many clues. I tend to reference with wexler's coin varieties. It has every single die marker. From the die gouge running from the mint mark through the upper 0 in the date, to the die gouge running vertically under the chin. From the G to Lincoln's head another die gouge and so forth. It's hard to fake that

and don't forget to learn how to use it.

or they could just use picsart software to crop stuff off the internet

Mr Weinberg with all due respect, it's the same coin. The more clearer photo was taken with my friends iphone which takes way more better shots. I just have a plain ole android with a basic camera. Stay tuned, here are more shots
