really is a doubled die that was missed. This is the reverse of a 1972D that appears to be a doubled die. Look at most of the lettering. There is not suppose to be a 1972 d doubled die if I am not mistaking. I heard of the 1972 DDO but nothing on a DDR with a 72. So, please tell me if I need my eyes checked or could this be a doubled die. Its pretty obvious that it's not mechanical or machine doubling right???
How about get those eyes checked. Pick that coin up an re-evaluate it, either it will be or it won't and you got your answer and yours eyes checked to boot. Depending on your age, that 72 will be worth something someday just like the attack of the RPMs 10-20 years later>>>lol
