I did find a vending machine once that took the gold dollars though! I was so thankful as I was very thirsty and they didnt have any quarters at the place for the machine.  The guy told me the machine would not take the gold dollars but it did! The Kennedy often plays out the same way when I use them. Many look at them a few times before realizing they are a half dollar and not a dollar. I have also had people give me chage as if the Kennedy half dollar was a dollar coin. I believe in Karma so I always correct them.  Still searching for a bank teller to try and order some- just write it in or call a few vaults- Best, Papa:bigeyes:[/QUOTE]
