This isn't really my usual sort of thing but I recently came into possession of this. It was an inheritance from a relative who probably bought it as a tourist. It appears to be an East India Company X Cash in a pendant setting. It looks like it is soldered in place, or otherwise permanently mounted. I understand that this is a rather common coin. Does anyone have any tips about assessing its authenticity? I wish it weren't in the pendant. I'm not going to wear a coin as a pendant, and if I were, it wouldn't be an British East India Company coin.
Haha, never mind, not so permanently mounted, there was a rather obvious screw that I missed at first.
