Edge error on 1981 penny?

    This 1981 penny has an uneven border. Is this an error coin? And if it is, would this increase it's value?

    We need to see the reverse. It could be an off-center strike (O/C) or it could be a misaligned die (MAD). In any case, it wouldn't be worth too much except to a bidiot.

    I'm not 100% positive, but it looks like it is a MAD. What is odd is that the obverse and reverse rims don't really match up. Is it possible that both dies were misaligned? I don't know. Maybe someone else will know.

    My thoughts are a Misaligned Die strike on the Obverse and the Reverse looking as it does due to maybe a slightly thick planchet causing an uneven edge due to a higher pressure strike...hope that makes sense o_O
