Ebay store; mygrandfatherstreasurestash is a Scam. Indian Cent Rolls

Besides all the (correct) comments regarding these "unsearched roll" scams, the biggest flag I see in those listings is the fake paper rolls. If you have experience looking at OBW paper rolls, you will immediately notice the tubes are not at all printed correctly. Many are labeled "BANK OF AMERICA // SAN FRANCISCO // N.T. & S.A.". Bank of America never labeled their wrappers with the city of the bank. I assume this was simpler for them since they have branches in most every city across the US. However, they did put a date code on the wrappers, which is missing from these.

The other roll type I see in the listings is labeled "FEDERAL RESERVE BANK // OF SAN FRANCISCO // TWELFTH FINANCIAL DISTRICT". The various FRBs did indeed wrap their own rolls for local distribution, but NEVER put the bank district number on the rolls.

It appears this seller is a very advanced con artist who may have custom-printed some paper roll tubes with authentic-looking (to the uninformed) names in order to make the rolls look like Original Bank Wrapped rolls.

His rolls: were found in an attic, originals from Cumberland County National Bank.

A few people have started leaving negative feedback and the seller gets snotty about it.

Well at the time of this post he has 10 rolls for sale that all have a Lincoln on one end and an Indian on the other and sold a lot of others like that so.......
