Ebay sellers and pvc flips.

And that is very possible. I would say the pvc guy did not earn his though. And your reaction on here further confirms my adding you to my no-buy list.

 

thats a terrible percentage of bad feedback left...my guess is they responded as we have to this offensive person and he didnt like it. I will ensure he goes on the buyers to block website too.

 

Most people at least dabble in selling on ebay. All you're really doing is shooting yourself in the foot. One of three things will happen with an attitude like that as a buyer on ebay. You'll either find your search results getting smaller and smaller as numerous people block you, find fewer people willing to sell on ebay because of things like this reducing your options, or see everyone listing higher prices to make up for the discounts people like you are taking away from them

 

no, i just messaged the pvc guy and told him i liked the coin but i'm not happy it was shipped in pvc, so i'm not leaving any feedback. my reaction here is what it is

 

But you DID leave neutral feedback. Why would you lie and say you didn't??

 

oh, that was another time, the one that prompted me to start this thread was a coin i recieved today, i haven't left feedback for it, and wont

Check out this 'persons' threads to date...they are all moaning about ebay. someone has an axe to grind. The last time someone left lots of negative feedback I called ebay and spoke to them direct, 2 days later the person was banned as a bad buyer. They will never have an ebay account EVER again.

 

Surprised they did that, but definitely something they need to do more of

All pejoratives aside, how can a person tell if a flip contains PVC? All flips that I see sold in coin shops, etc. are PVC free.

they are very soft and flexible, and they smell like a shower curtain.

 

they could see a history of malicious feedback, so they just dropped him. very satisfying as I had 1000 pos feedback as a seller up until then.

You do know that you opened yourself up to the negative comments, don't you? A PVC shipping method is a very minor issue in the bigger scheme of our hobby. Frankly, I would Never leave neutral or negative feedback for such a minor issue. I would be more concerned with a seller not using ANY safe packaging and letting a coin float during transit. And your swearing here multiple times is totally out of line. There are many young numismatists here who do not need to read that. I hope desertgem sends you fair warning. "Nuff said.

 

I asked a question. i expected answers. i saw people scrambling to block me on ebay. if feedback is that important, i won't leave neg or neutral, ok? i didn't know how important it was to sellers, you'd think i'd insulted their mothers from the responses i got, and i responded in kind. as far as desertgem giving me fair warning, i pm'd peter and asked to be deleted, this forum is not for me, if i can ask a question and be blocked on ebay for ruffling feathers, i gotta go.
