Unless you do not care about receiving poor feedback, you should have apologized for his being unhappy even if you still think this was entirely his fault. It is not worth arguing with someone over coins that can easily be purchased bulk for a tiny, tiny fraction of what this guy paid, so if I were you, I would apologize to this person and tell him to keep the coins.
