eBay would need to be a bit careful acting on the word of people like us. Today over on another venue there are people saying that acsearch should be sued for allowing comments on coins stating that they are obvious fakes when the coin is not as obvious or not even fake. In the end, eBay is a flea market and your chances of buying a fake or getting a good deal is a lot like when you go to a parking lot with a bunch of people selling junk out of their trunks. I'm a lot easier on eBay in this regard because their employees do not and can not know enough about our coins and the thousands of other things they sell to be even a little capable of helping. I see it as very different when we see a professional seller, auction house or vCoins dealer being inappropriate in this regard. If you are charging me a 20% buyer's fee, I expect a bit of expertise in return. If you tell me your member dealers are screened, I expect them to be correctly vetted. I buy from eBay and expect the item purchased to (1) arrive, (2) on time, (3) safely packaged and (4) to resemble the pictures posted. I bought a case for my phone, a package of scalpel blades and a coin in the last month. It was my job to select the model that fit my phone and the shape blade I use to cut and scrape. The coin I got was he one shown in the photo and I suspect I know as much about it as the guy who sent it. If I'm wrong, it would not be the first time.

Anybody who buys a coin from a country that forbids it or a $5000 type opening at $1 probably should expect an occasional flea bite.
