Hi LittleDog, Although I personally have not sold on ebay in some time one DOES have to follow the rules. Whether or not you meant the title to be misleading is not the real issue. It was against the rules and people here on CT do tend to notice these types of things. Perhaps your coin WOULD merit an MS70 from PCGS but unless it is in a PCGS MS70 holder it should not be mentioned in the title. I work in a coin shop and we sell on ebay. We have to follow the rules like anyone else. I see coins that may go PR70 or MS70 every day but it's not in our title on a raw coin. We slab stuff constantly. I often get elected to choose what "modern" coins we might send in and I'll share something with you. I don't think I've seen an MS70 coin and very few PR70 coins IMHO. If it has even the tiniest of flaws it doesn't get it in my book. I pick the best and, on occasion, it does get a 70 grade that I don't agree with. I've sold raw coins in the past as AT LEAST a PR68 on ebay (back in the day) and other sites and had buyers tell me they think it's a 70. Great. A satisfied customer but I have NEVER used the 70 grade in a title even when it was allowed. I might also add that a trend I've noticed on ebay as of late is that raw coins tend to get better money than MS or PR69 because the buyer is hoping for the "gem" to slab. Sell them raw as original and you might actually do better. Toss in the 70 grade and you make people wary. Fact is there ARE a lot of scams going on with ebay and it's discussed a lot here. I really don't think any harm was meant here but perhaps you can realize that this is how a lot of people viewed your auction. Finally, I'm sure YOU meant no harm or to be misleading. Words can mean a lot. clembo
