Unbelievable to how many ebay sellers with a good amount of sales and 100% feedback are scamming.
Different names but maby the same sellers?
I reported 2 because I just cannot do it anymore plus ebay's report function does not let you say it as it truly is. Capture.PNG

But, they get away with it because they are not lying or misrepresenting. The only thing that makes it a scam is the uneducated buyers

I can only assume we live in a time where there are a lot of desperate people.

It's always been buyer beware where coins are concerned, nowadays that is greatly compounded.

Yeah, that's nothing new but more sellers are listing dummy sales listings as they don't care about taking advantage of the uneducated! Truly it can't be stopped as ebay don't care at all!

Yeah, I'm not seeing a scam in those examples. Mostly just foolish sales tactics — telling blatant lies that anyone with two good eyes and half a brain should be able to recognize.

That level isn't new at all, I'm afraid.

To me, Ebay is about the same as it has always been. It can be risky but there are sellers there that I trust.

So where is the scam? As long as it is the seller's coin he can ask any price he wishes for it.

Yes, and make any claim about the coin he wants.

There are a lot of people that will buy those listings and never pay to make them go away

    What does that mean?

They buy the listing and never pay, aka you make it go away. Just like when they bid insane amounts on fakes so no one else buys it

I understand. I've seen that from time to time. Thanks.

That, on the other hand, IS a scam.

Not to mention a giant waste of time trying to police the internet. Realistically there's generally multiples for coins on eBay and if someone can't be bothered to look at the others and figure out the raw one is overpriced that's just being lazy at best

And is a good way to make YOUR ebay account go away. Several non-paying bidder strikes will get your account banned.
