I've been selling on ebay for a few months now and I offer nice coins and paper money for what I have. I have some non USA coins that according to the KM# are worth some $$ but then you have somebody that lists it for .26 cents and free shipping. First question is why would they list it that low and second question is how the HECK do they not go BANKRUPT offering it for pennies on the dollar and free shipping. I'm clueless why some people would sell for a loss.. In the US standard shipping is at least .59 cents so what do they do? how do they make money? is it because of bulk? For the love of money can someone clue me in:arghh:

Can you show us an example of this .26c coin?

Some people think they will attract repeat buyers by offering a "loss leader".

It was listed as an auction and the seller was hoping for more.

Since it is a junk bin coin they were too optimistic.

Until the Euro that coin was minor pocket change, however according the seller it is "AUTHENIC" :D

That seller has 3,000 items listed right now, and almost 80,000 Feedbacks. They move things in volume, and don't need to worry about individual values.

This is the kind of seller you can cherrypick. Hush. :D
