I see that too and it is also a concern of mine. First off, let me say that I don't buy errors raw off the the bay all that often. I'm very well aware of the risks inherent in such endeavours. I checked his feedback and the record of past sales and purchases as I always do and no red flags went up. That being said, the rims resemble those I've seen on true clipped edge errors; please refer to this link, then scroll down to the kennedy half used as an example in a reply: http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=100334 Also I thought of points #1 and #4 made by Collect89. I also took note of the lack of damage to the obverse, and lack of scrape marks needed to push metal enough to actually raise metal as high if not higher than the design. The photos, while better than most, leave a lot to be desired; but I wouldn't be the only CT member to count on less than perfect pics I paid immediately for this coin upon auction end for these reasons. I have been talking with the seller who seems to have no ill intentions and look forward to its arrival very much. You know, a bird in the hand.... I also have to point out here that nobody seems to have noticed the other part of N in cent... It seems so clearly visible to me... am I the only one? This points to a clash at the very least. When it arrives I will take many pics and am free to open discussion on it, as I've still reserved my own opinion until I see it in hand. I will take pics of any part of the coin as requested, and look forward to it. I haven't played blackjack in years now & God knows I've dropped much more on a single hand. The conversation/debate is worth every penny! Stay tuned!
