I just wanted to clarify some of the facts. I didn't "charge" $4000 for the coin. I asked for more but was offered less. I accepted what was offered. I guess it is just semantics but "charged" has this harsh connotation to it like the buyer didn't have a choice. I was paid the money but it wasn't spent in the traditional sense of the word.....it was just transferred out of my Paypal account. I guess you can call that spending the money cuz it was no longer there. It was still available.....just somewhere else. In the process of transferring the money back to paypal, I made a mistake which I hoped I could share with the group. Lastly, as CameroDMD has repeatedly tried to clarify and as I will now again.....I wasn't upset about offering a return.....I was upset about the underlying reasons on why the coin was being returned. I would be lying if I were to say that I wasn't disappointed, but I definitely wasn't upset. When I think of upset, I think of my wife on how she acts when she breaks a nail or how I am after she rips the side of the car off in our very own driveway. That is being upset. This was mild in comparison. Remember....I never wanted to sell the coin anyway even when I knew I could get 5 grand for it as my friends were. One of my buddies, who has become a good coin mentor convinced me from a financial point of view that this would be a good decision to put the coin up for sale. I did, it didn't work out so back in the safe it went and where it will stay. That's all.

I know Sodude that you don't mean anything negative by anything you were saying, but there are others who simply can't see the forest for the trees and simply don't understand that all I was trying to do was educate others as to what happened and how to avoid a similar situation. Its funny when you post something like this is called whining and when you post something good its called bragging. I guess my mind doesn't work like that and I am sympathetic to those who had bad issues and happy for those that have good fortunes. My wife always tells me that this is how you tell the difference between a democrat and a republican! LOL!
