    Ebay lotto win.. What do you mean by your title? Nice Gold you have there!
    I won one early this year in the CoinTalk competition! I just love showing off my first Gold Coin ever!

    They sell rolls of coins and you bid on the roll hoping to get something good... randomly placed in the rolls are gold coins. Spent $26 and found gold in mine.

    I thought it was just a scam honestly. Did not think I'd axtually get a piece of gold. Guess there are some legit things out there.

    Can you send a link to an example auction? I have never heard of these other than the possible 1916D end penny roll scams.

    Several years ago I bid on a similar "lotto" auction. You were supposed to pick a number between 1-100 when you paid. I paid $10 for the chance. Some "win" $1 (so lose $9) and some win more, depending on what number you pick. I told him I sure hoped I would win, because I loved this sort of thing and would buy a lot more! OK, I lied, but sure enough, I actually won $20 or so. I figured he keeps most people money, and gives a few people a few bucks to keep them coming back. I took my profit and ran!

    Just search for coin lottery on ebay. There's another going on now. You have till Sunday to bet on a #. Not going to test my luck though. Lol.

    Probably haven't heard much about them because they are against ebay's rules I believe.
