If you're happy with what you paid for the end coins, that's fine, but I wouldn't count on there being a bunch of good ones in between. For your sake I hope there are more good dates in the roll. I have to wonder....how could somebody own that roll for 8 years without opening it? I couldn't own it for 8 minutes without opening it. That gamble is a good bit beyond my typical risk level as a rule. I hope it works out well for you, but I have to admit to being a bit of a skeptic. FWIW....stay away from the guy selling the striped rolls of mixed indian heads and wheats. Those rolls are the kind that Walmart has on the shelf right this minute, and if you were to tumble a few of them at a time in a rock tumbler....they would get fuzzy looking like that. A friend of mine bought one of those rolls, and we unwrapped the wrapper....and it was just as pristine and new where it was rolled. It looked just like the brand new ones. In his case...the end coins were the only coins worth much of anything. Nightowl
