I can beat that one. I was routed through Charlotte, SC flying from Seattle to Minneapolis, MN! Needless to say, I wasn't very excited about that detour.
I don't know why anyone would exclude PR, or Alaska, or Hawaii or the Virgin Islands... the rates are exactly the same for all items sent via the USPS. Doesn't make any sense to exclude them.
Simple, if the USPS delivers to an address, I'll ship to that address. I won't ship to APO or FPO. Those addresses can, and do, generate too much drama.
I had checked 'Alaska/Hawaii', 'APO/FPO', and 'Protectorates', making shipping only to the lower 48. There was no specific button for it.
I realize this now. From now on, I will ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and any US territories or protectorates. I, too, won't ship to APO or FPO, since it is generally out of my control once it leaves the country.
