Yup, you did the right thing uscoinsinfo...I'm sure you would've came to the same conclusion even if you didn't post your situation here. -LTB
I am glad to hear you did the right thing. I am sure it will come back to you ten times over in the long run. Like others have said, the seller may refund you the money just for you being honest about everything.
I ordered some flips from a company, and in it I got a 2009 black book for paper & coins, 2 books,I emailed the guy,he saif dont worry about it,and didnt want me to pay.as a company, sometimes you just eat a few bucks.if he didnt get his money from the buyer,he would have used a write off on his taxes,so either way,he would have gotten his money.
Karma, baby....goes a long way when it's good, and boy, can we ALL use good Karma. Good move...shows you've got a conscience.
Thanks and I wasn't going to post anymore until I saw your avatar and laughed because of the amount of times I have seen that
What tax bracket are you in that that a tax rite off is the same? Let me give you a hint...100% and no one is at that (yet). So the seller still lost money. And I to think the op did the right thing!!! Attaboy carma man
If somebody says they never made a bad buy. Their full of it. In the words of the Aaron Neville, everybody plays the fool sometimes. You did the right thing.
Good lesson learned, good for you UScoins I knew something good would come out of this. :thumb: Bartender rootbeers all the way around!
At least your buyers remorse was relatively cheap. Mine cost about $300. But they sent me what they offered and I accepted by bidding, so it was a lesson learned.
