Small size Series 1928A and Series 1934 Gold Certificates were also printed but the former was never released, and the later was only used within the Federal Reserve System.</i></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><i>1928A $100 Federal Reserve Notes are something entirely different. They do not have the traditional gold seal and serial numbers.
