There is part of your problem. Heritage has been selling certified F-15 coins for $100 to $120. The F-12 is worth less.

Just did some checking around on dealer web sites - I looked at Harlan J Berk, VT Coins, etc. 1913-D type two all VG coins are going for more than $100. But you all are correct on the heritage auctions. I do comparison shop with a whole list of dealers checking their prices - in this case I would wait until heritage or ebay had what I wanted. All part of finding the best deals for myself.

Ouch, sorry to hear that. I was watching one of your items the otherday and had big plans on bidding, but it ended while I wasnt home. I wanted to bid on your high grade 1898 Barber Dime. I didnt know that it was you selling the coin, but its one I noticed and its one I wanted. But Im very sorry to hear about your bad luck. I sold just a few items on ebay recently and decided that ebay prices are way below what they should be. And I too am hoping prices will be back up after the new years. In the mean time Im doing all my listing on CoinBug where I can set prices rather than leave the price up to the bidders.

Although they do not have very many expenses, the bandwidth and server prices for their site must be through the roof. Bandwidth isnt cheap.
