The nearest coin show is an hour from here -- two months from now.&nbsp; Where else but the internet can I make a purchase at midnight, sitting comfortably in my living room?</p><p><br /></p><p>I know it&#039;s not for everybody, but I&#039;m surprised that you appear to think that it&#039;s not useful for anybody ever.</p><p><br /></p><p>E.g., I have a gazillion holes in my Indian Head Cent collection (as I only started that a year ago).&nbsp; Last week I picked up a bunch of 20 IHC&#039;s for $20 (ppd).&nbsp; It filled 10 holes and a few of the coins were nice.&nbsp; A few of these kinds of purchases -- and now I only have half-a-bazillion holes! &lt;g&gt;</p><p><br /></p><p>Last week I got a 1945-S Walker Half, in F/VF for $7 (ppd).&nbsp; I also got a 1909 IHC for G for $3.50 (ppd) (graysheet lists the coin for about $12 -- I got it b/c I took a chance on an auction that had a bad-quality picture, and I guess others didn&#039;t want to take that chance).&nbsp; I just picked up a set of 2001-2009PD Unc set of Sacs (20 coins) for $35 (I see same sets online selling for twice that).</p><p><br /></p><p>Ya&#039; just gotta be careful and know what you&#039;re getting into.&nbsp; It&#039;s just one place of many where one can purchase.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
