There are several high-end sellers on eBay offering coins higher than my friggin house value. I really can't see anyone purchasing them off eBay. Then again, I can't relate to anyone who would be able to buy them.
That's what I mean. What are they gonna do? Ship them through usps? Yeah right. If I have a million dollars to spend on a coin, I think I could afford to fly where ever and purchase it in person.
There are a couple of dealers I see regularly at local shows who I have literally told that if I ever became a billionaire, I would clean clean out their entire show inventory and hire them to just buy coins for me.
That antimony test strike is definitely way better than the 43 bronze and 44 steel. I like patterns a lot more than errors as a general rule.
The pictured 1943 copper is real...I seem to remember the finder posting a thread about it long ago. I remember that damage, made me sick.
OOPS! That did not last long. Looks like eBay un-sold it. I cannot tall. Is this the same seller? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1943-COPPER...699319?hash=item1a1d0f6ab7:g:m3AAAOSwnH1WXe43
