Does anyone have experience as a member of this group? Is most of the activity centered around major shows?
I'm a member. There are periodic meetings as newsletters, but the biggest events coincide with major shows.
They have an annual convention that moves around the country (The John Reich Collectors Society is also invited to this), and starting this year they will also be having a mini convention in association with the Colonial Coin Collectors Club (C4) at fall Baltimore show (C4 has their annual convention at this show) Sometimes there are regional meeting at some of the larger shows. And of course they have atheir quarterly publication, and a weekly email publication (Region 8).
Great newsletter unfortunately my last three attempts to renew have all been returned to me as undeliverable. Would definitely recommend signing up if you can.
I have been a member for several years and really enjoy the people and knowledge base. Well worth the nominal fee to join.
