Has anyone ever submitted any coins to Rick Snow for the Eagle Eye sticker? If so, what are his terms? Is it on his website? Is it used to identify varieties that are not attributed on the slab, or is it more like CAC for Indian Cents?
More like CAC for Flying Eagle/Indians. His seal means that he personally has examined the coin and would be willing to buy it at his market price for the stated grade whereas he doesn't buy anything with a grade label with which he doesn't agree even at a discounted price. As for asking Penny Lady, why not ask Rick, himself?http://www.indiancent.com/index.php/photoseal/
I would say it's more like CAC. My only experience with it is me sending back the coin b/c of a scratch, and Rick promptly removing the sticker.
It's called "photo seal" sticker. It's more like CAC for Indian cents. Rick guarantees a buy price of no loess than 75% of their sell price for stickered coins. http://www.indiancent.com/index.php/photoseal/
I've sent Rick Flying Eagles and Indian Cents for attribution to see if they were newly discovered varieties. Rick lists all new varieties in the "Longacre's Ledger", the journal for the Flying Eagle and Indian Cent Collector's Society called the Fly-inclub. Rick also assesses the grade on slabbed coins and if he agrees with the stated grade he adds his photo seal sticker. But as noted above, best to learn about Rick's services from Rick at: http://www.indiancent.com/ al
