I am on the wire here about leaving feed back on two items I purchased on e bay. The first an 1869 Shield nickel. The second a 1948 -D Unc. Franklin half. I was so excited from the picture of the nickel because I knew it was an 1869 wide date Variety Misplaced Date PUP Ball of Shield URS-3 I-3 L-3 The picture of this item was not very clear at to the top of the coin I would of graded it as an XF . The seller had in all her listing "high quality "and "rare find" in all her listings. Now at middle age my eyes are not as good as they were years ago. The nickel was like I said an XF all except the huge scratch or gouge in the "W" in WE the W was just about gone! I could not see this in her picture as she had shot it in the photo. Next I bid and won also a 1948-D UNC. Franklin half nice UNC coin nice luster but again the photo did not show the huge scratch running from the top of the back of Franklin crown to the base of his neck! I returned the nickel and received a refund. I went and had another look at her other items again. I found after doing a few photo tricks most all her items are semi keys or varieties but most are damaged coins! She is selling by her listing HIGH GRADE and RARE Damaged coins. The trick is her lighting and the way she is shooting the coins. Now my problem is I hate leaving a negitave feed back or even a netural ...she did refund me the money ...but I don't want anyone else to be taken by this seller.Do I report her to e bay and then get no answer from them as in the passed. Or just leave feed back to make others aware as to her game? I do have a funny feeling that something is wrong with this seller seems that she has a hord of key/ semi key and varieties all with problems! Do I report to e bay or leave a negative?
