Just back from the BWGS (BullWinkle Grading Service)
They indicated that the grade was to match my age, but wanted an extra $100.00 to note the rotated die.

To be honest I was busy looking for a new track layout for my N scale trains, transformer and other stuff.
Remember it's less than 10 months till Christmas and shipping has been slow.
I figure if it takes almost 3 months to get something from Deutschland, I better get started.

 

Does it really take that long? I receive quite a few parcels from the US and haven’t noticed any significant delays.

OK that‘s what DHL, our largest carrier says:
„At this time, transport capacities to the US are considerably reduced. In light of this, special measures are required in order to maintain mail and parcel service. Please note that since September 15, 2020, we have been shipping some products to the US via ocean freight. This will apply until further notice. That's how long it took me to get a package from there.
It shipped Nov. 20 2020 and arrived Feb. 18,2021.
I had wanted it for my N scale train display.
Oh my the way it was a Nativity set

Just bit it and no, it's definitely not silver.

 

I’d buy one of those, would go nicely with my @lordmarcovan numismatic items. I love the emphasis on trains that @dwhiz keeps top of mind in what he shares, and he has great taste in original circs too.

 

Work has been keeping me off the site for a few days, but what a great idea. I think I'll start an "asphalt type set" . . . .

I wonder if Dansco has an album for that . . . . ?
