I'm sure alot of us here use TD to dump and we all know that their bags fill at $100 which is crazy IMHO. It's a waste of resources (plastic bags), money, and time. Anyway, I was reading some posts on a CRHing forum and someon in the North East was dumping lets say $1500 in halves each day at one TD branch. If you're out there and reading this, PLEASE STOP! Spread it around bit. You're abusing the system and they cut you off, which they should have. I know TD could up the limit to say $500 per bag and it would help everyone out, but they have not. Stop using up all the bags so when I come in and dump there are still some bags left for my coins. Help a brother out.

I dumped $1000 last week at TD, it took forever (45 minutes) because the machine kept jamming because the teller did not put it together correctly when a bent half got stuck in there. I should have been more careful about cashing in an abused half and I paid the price. I thanked the tellers numerous times and they won't see more for at least two weeks and the next time I show my face, I'll have donuts and let's say $500 to dump.

I only have 3 branches within a 30 mile radius that have coin counters. I rotate my dumps so I don't upset the apple cart so to speak. I also send my coin out in bags to be counted and credited. I do this because I want to be able to hunt for a long time. I'm not in it to abuse the system and get cut off. I have to dump $500 in halves this weekend. I'm driving 8 additional miles (16 additional round trip) to dump at a branch that I have not been to in months.

When I dump D's & Q's at my local bank I go there once a week with $250 or $500 and they never ever have to change the bag. They just cash the ticket and I'm gone. I'm one of the easiest transaction of the day. I go there with treats sometimes too to keep them happy. This week I bought Godiva for three different banks I go to. They were all very happy and enjoyed the sweet treat I left with them.

Does anyone else agree with me. The more people abuse the system the quicker everyone is going to get cut off. I don't want to stroll into my local TD branch and have them say sorry, no bags left, we can't cash in you halves after I just drove 30 miles to get there.

HOTN
