If you can&#039;t visually see the doubling in LIBERTY and IGWT or to a lesser extent the date, and the only way to attribute the coin as a 1970-S DDO is through the die markers, that makes for a very underwhelming example of the coins attribution.</p><p><br /></p><p>When I hear the term doubled die, I want to look at the coin and say wow! Unfortunately I can&#039;t say that about your coin. The wow factor is just not there, IMO. Others are obviously disagreeing with me. That&#039;s ok too. If I were looking to purchase a 70-S DDO I can&#039;t say I&#039;d entertain your specimen. There are too many out there that have the wow factor where it&#039;s blatantly obvious what the error is.</p><p><br /></p><p>None of this takes away from the fact that I&#039;m rooting for you to find that elusive error you seek.
