    looks like 179something. Can you take a closer photo but straight on instead of at an angle?

    can you bring in an extra light to light up the date? also, can you get the camera closer?

    Could you take a pic of the reverse too? They did have several reverse's of the Bust type...

    I'd say it is a 1798. It has an exact Rev of 97 type rev and it doesn't match any of the 1796's with that rev type.
