After seeing that, it make me even more impatient for the foot of snow that's on the ground to melt off so I can start hunting again.

That's the rub. I got a metal detector last year too. I checked most the places I wanted to around here and dug up a lot of coins (all modern) but now it's like I don't have anywhere to go. If people didn't care, I could find all kinds of places. The problem is, most people don't want you around and it can be a hassle narrowing down who owns what property. The parks around here have been gone over with a fine toothed comb by everybody who has one, many times.

Geez, almost forgot!! Awesome find man. That is definitely one to be proud of. Major score.
