(Though it was run by Kress' wife after his death in 1969.)</p><p><br /></p><p>(I had forgotten the G. Hirsch connection. John Spring [2009, <i>Ancient Coin Auction Catalogs: 1880-1980</i>] says Gerhard Hirsch, son of Heinrich Hirsch who was senior partner at Helbing in 1939 when Nazis took over, started a new business in 1953, the one that continues today.
