Here is an old 1969 D Penny. I think I see some minor doubling in "E PLURIBUS UNUM".
However, as referenced in my previous posts, I am still nearly always wrong. We shall soon see...

What I see is die deterioration because most of the letters are erose instead of being straight and cleanly struck.

When you continue to magnify certain areas of any coin you will see stuff that you won't normally see. Mostly Die Deterioration Issues. Stop the magnification and look for stuff that can be seen just by looking at it normally. I haven't looked for a Doubled Die since the late 1990's (over 20 years now) after the 1995 DDO was discovered. I never found one. Anything else is so minor it's not worth the time and effort IMHO.

No disrespect to the true Variety collectors. If they enjoy looking for DDO's and DDR's that's great. Kudos to them!
