@Reyneer you will lose the interest of many members here with your inability to grasp what is being said to you. A proof strike is a process for producing a special finish for the whole coin. Not parts of the eagle etc. (read your quote in the post above) I stress what has already been said, read up on the minting processes and how dies are made. Post a clear, in focus, image of your coin and a legible explanation of what you think you see. There are many experienced members here but, without an image to refer to, opinions can only be given in respect to what you describe, which, frankly, does not make a lot of sense

 

maybe you should read up on it there buddy. has nothing to do with the strikes in all cases. its not just about the striking of coins or how they are hit or produced or sprayed its about the artist who work with the coins themselves the ones that make the art and get it to the coin is what i like the process to me sounds like story time at times.
the eagle is what is differant in those years and strikes look it up now i don't care what anyone had to say about this to be honest i didn't ask for anyones opinion i said go check your own stock but a lot of people started crying and throwing tantums like big adult babies so i figured i would post a picture to show if you don't see i don't really care not everyone does not everyone can see what is actually on these coins or even on old american art it is a design error that i hope becomes reconiesd as a variety cause it is a beutiful coin whow ever seen it all the way through did a excellent job. personally i think it out does the 61 62 eagle design by far.

 

and maybe no one here will like me it really does not surprise me cause im not part of their gang or secret society or gentlemens club or class mate im here to share my discoveries and the beutiful art of american history without limitations or representation of anything or anyone

here you all go its under scope. with and without light. they are of both sides left and right wing also from the top and upside down and front. like i said a design error only one known that i am aware of for proofs circalation strikes was 2 in the late 50s as stated by wexler this 1963 i received it sealed also thank you very much i would like to hear what else you say now i am kinda curious the type of things you come up lol

I've come to the conclusion that EDITED he is just a TROLL.

 

If the lettering is not raised and they "look in" it's called Incused Lettering.

 

If you think you have a Doubled Die Reverse (DDR) Franklin Half Dollar, you should've said so in your first post. Would have saved a lot of this back and forth bickering.
