Double Struck 2000 penny?

    So, you tricked us. Out of curiosity, how can you tell if it is a wide AM? The cheerios holder is not see thru so you cannot see the reverse of the coin. Also, now the idea Huntsman had about the extra numbers coming from the plastic covering makes sense. I tend to lean in that direction. I wonder if you can get the coin to move inside the holder and see if the extra numbers also move.

    wrote the wide AM when I was 7 (and got the coin) ...don't actually think it is lol someone gave me a 2x2 then and I wanted to put a coin in it

    I have a cherrios penny in its original wrapping. I thought I had a very faint Liberty impression above the actual Liberty lettering. I did not see anything around the 2000. After reading this post, I tapped the packaging several times and would look at the ghost Liberty. It is my unprofessional opinion that the above gentleman was correct in saying it was imprinted onto the plastic and that is why it shows up BECAUSE
