Hi all, I have up for a sale a 1926-S MS63 NGC Peace Dollar. It has double sided rainbow toning; a rarity in it of itself. Most toners I've seen are of 1922 and 23, the common dates of the series. The obverse has bright periphial blue-burnt gold toning and otherwise blast white color while the reverse has smooth dark orange toning prevalent throughout the reverse with strong shades of magenta and touches of blue around the rims. While most Peace Dollars have a lot of crust and muted luster when there's toning, this one exhibits virtually none of that -- the reverse exhibits FULL mint luster; the obverse is, of course, blast white. IMHO, this coin is a 64 with an exceptionally clean cheek and field (I can't see any detectable rubs either)...I think the only thing that kept it back was the obvious "track" mark on Liberty's jawbone -- probably from being hit by a rim of another coin in a mint bag. Other than that, it's a fantastic coin. Asking price is $300 shipped; all offers are considered! I also have a no-questions asked return policy, assuming you're not an infamous person or "sudden newcomer" on these boards. If I can't sell it here I'll be posting it on ebay soon. Pictures below! If you have any offers, questions, or are in need of more pictures, feel free to PM me! Thanks! -CB
