I'm thinking struck through a Capped Die Error.
    Let me investigate.

Limit your threads to 1 coin at a time to keep it flowing on just one topic.
Create a separate thread for the Quarter.

The problem is that you created 2 threads exactly the same. One showing the pictures correctly and this thread. I reported it to the moderators to see if they delete this thread. You can also report it by hitting the report button.

That Cent is not a magicians coin.

@Reaghan This is the correct thread. The other thread does not show properly. See the difference?

Really?hmm interesting I know one of the sides looks like a capped die so are you saying this is an error coin or just two coins put together/damage.

I just noticed this is the correct thread in that post I said I agree with it being a capped die strike but why is there two memorial cent reverses together is that also an error or damage?

Capped die strike and also appears to be a partial collar as well.

It has two reverse because the obverse die is "capped" by a previously struck cent. Since the obv of that cent is stuck to the obv die the OP coin is being struck between a rev die and the reverse of that previously struck cent. The die has been capped for a little while and the stuck cent is spreading out, that is why the memorial is larger than normal, and that spreading and the pounding is making it thinner which is why the Lincoln bust is starting to show through.

Would you like me to delete the quarter picture?

I apologize on the threads merging.
So this coin is a keeper? Should I send it off for verification?

No you should be fine selling it raw if thats your plan you should get around $100 or more for it no problem/ getting error coins certified is expensive.

If it is for your personal collection to keep then yes I would send it for attribution. It looks nice in a slab and you can show it off as proof that you found a neat Mint Error. That's what I have done over the years.
    That's a keeper.
