Again, i think this is Strike Doubling (if for no other reason then both the date and mintmark are affected), but have never seen a doubling like this leaving a full ghostly image behind the front mark. Also, with the magnitude of the 'spread' on the 992, i am surprised it would not show on the 1. The mintmark was affected with the same 'spread' as the date, but there is some kind of corruption or corrosion happening where the 'spread' was. any thoughts??[/QUOTE]
