Welcome to CT!!! I assume you are talking about the little black dot below the 3. It is the only "Dot" i see below the date. To my eyes this dot does not look raised on your coin and it looks a slightly too far to the right. Although this is hard to tell due to the angle of your photo. It also looks like it is to close to the rim compared to the example shown on Coins and Canada. I agree with MontCollector. The cent is not a Canadian 1936 dot cent. There are only 3 known examples. This picture is of the specimen in the Bank of Canada Museum.
