I once met the fellow that curates the historical items recovered from that place and he showed me quite a collection of buttons recovered at the site….. My bucket list coin was always a USA Bar Copper. I always knew the obverse of that coin was patterned after a Colonial uniform button….. What I did not know is that the reverse (thirteen parallel bars) was also patterned after a Colonial uniform button. He had several of those too.

How much do bourse tables cost sellers at local coin shows? I've only been to a few. I feel a little bit sorry for the sellers but not enough to pay their ridiculous prices, usually well over list.
