    I agree, that's what I was meaning to say when I stated, if we're looking at an "RPM" I wasn't seeing it?
    Hence the reason I posted the image of my 55-D RPM to make sure I correctly understood what defines "RPM"

    Mint marks were still hand punched in the working dies in 1989.

    I was thinking that Eddie might have been off a year. Was 1989 the last year for hand punched mm? Or first year mm as part of the engraving? I thought they were still being hand punched then.

    According to everything I’ve read they were still hand punched in ‘89. VV, CC, and Wexlers rpm listings stop with 1989 for business strikes and 1985 for proofs.

    It seems you got the answer. MM were still hand punched into the die in 89.

    Let's keep this thread on topic, with Zlincoln RPM's.
    They are the most difficult to find. Between the copper plating, split plating and plating disturbance, these can be difficult to find.
