I did like the one round that was making the umm, "rounds" in 2016. It had the legend "He Shall Overcomb" on it.
If it’s marked 999 or says one ounce pure silver, I would consider it legitimate. Like I mentioned earlier, given the circumstances, I would go with the NORFED. https://www.trumpdollar.us/ TC
Well said, but as much as I hate to say it, welcome to the hypocrisy that has become CoinTalk. Although worse than it times past, it is nothing new, nor is this type of nonsense allowed to stand when about anyone else, especially on the other side of the political spectrum. Hell, I once received an almost instantaneous written warning due to an innocuous inside joke (directed towards another now-banned member) that a certain mod wrongly interpreted to be anti-Obama. Just last week I had the pleasure of a cheesy winky warning over an obvious joke with no direct political reference from the same mod who, most regrettably, hasn't much of a problem spewing the same blatantly political vitriol addressed in your post. I'm sorry you had to deal with this, especially considering your noble reason for asking. Unfortunately, there have been more political digs on this board over the last year than in the previous 4-5 combined, yet even when directly pointed out, its often ignored. Don't believe me? Take an even gentle swipe at the opposite side and see how quickly it's dealt with. Then, to make participation here that much sweeter, we've a couple of otherwise fine members with a deep-seated need to see ulterior motives behind what they don't personally agree with. Express an opinion that a coin is ugly which just happens to depict a woman, it just can't be due to a poor rendering, but must be due to misogyny. Express a dislike for the Liberty 225th anniversary gold and racial motivations will be implied. Dare to point out the fact that one cannot automatically know, without visual clues or prior interaction, what another wishes to be referred to as and you'll be called a "bigot". Unfortunately, these folks haven't yet figured out that what they're really doing is smearing others, without basis or fact and solely upon their desire to see boogymen, in one of the most disgusting ways imaginable. It's beyond pitiful that the social bullying has infested every corner of our lives, and even a forum dedicated to coins no longer offers an escape from it. It's a shame that such great forum populated by many good people needlessly gives itself a black eye over this nonsense. My very best to your friend's son.
Man. If you were in Buffalo, I'd not only buy you a drink, but an entire steak dinner. Well said. I am actually surprised at one particular member who made a comment on my post who seems to be, or tries to be, someone with great knowledge and an active ANA member making a remark about the color of Trump's skin; and right after my explanation of why I wanted one and that the political comments should stop. It is getting ridiculous, and I would like to hear what the manager of this site has to say.
Buffalo digs, eh? I'm glad I'm out of that town. Bought some real estate on good intentions and got screwed over........worked out in the end and no 'bad' about the town, but I can't seem to get the bad taste out of my mouth. Welcome to the forum and the fray.......
This thread is wallowing in irrelevancy... I may be wrong about this, but I believe that a "legitimate silver round" is whatever any company, anywhere, makes. Silver rounds are simply round pieces of silver with no pretense to "legitimacy," unless one is looking for a particular bullion producer's product that features Trump.
By "legitimate" I mean it is actually real silver (.999 fine) and not just claiming to be silver and it is not, or it is simply silver-plated and they don't say that. I was actually quite clear and expressed that in the simplest of terms.
I haven’t been on in the last year but if that was the case I bet I’d have been banned again as I don’t take that kind of crap lightly. I love my country I love our constitution and I love our president god bless America the land of the free. My family has been here since the days of the Massachusetts tree coinage and we fought to make America the country it is. And a lot of us fought to make it 2 countries
Calm down, buddy. I'm part of the guy's "base" too. It's a TONING joke, about people into TONING. They're more ridiculous than either that guy's more ardent detractors OR fans, IMO. As to your point, if you know of ANY so-called silver pieces that "AREN'T" silver, featuring the fellow, you already know more on the subject than I do. When you say "legit coin", to me, you exclude medals and/or rounds, and include only legal tender of some country. Again, I know of none personally.
